Evolution of Fashion 3 comes back to the Bay Area! EVO 3 is dedicated to the promotion of local fashion designers and artists. This year, located at the St. Mary's Event Center, St. Francis Hall, The Fashion Industry bonds with the Cancer Community!

Gail Ballesteros-Shrive, Project Manager of “The Hub” by Georgiou Studio and CEO of GB Shrive Designs hosts her third bi-yearly “Evolution of Fashion”! The theme for this Evolution event is “1930’s Old Hollywood, Made in 2012”. This year, she has named and is partnering with her non-profit of choice, Heaven’s Door, a foundation started in 2005 by her friend Daphne Evans, an ovarian, breast and spinal cancer survivor. Daphne promotes “Diva Aftercare™” paying for spa visits to ladies going through life threatening illnesses, including cancer surgeries and/or treatments to their spa of choice as well as providing accommodations to long distance cancer patients coming for treatment.  Come see amazing fashion designers create costumes to be worn by both professional models walking the runway hand in hand with patients in the middle of their fight whether by surgery, chemo or radiation.

The theme for this Evolution event is "1930’s Old Hollywood, Made In 2012". Each designer has been asked to select a style of the Old Hollywood era, but with a 2012 twist. These pieces will be worn by the designers themselves as well as their models for a fashion face-off. Come cheer for cancer warriors who are putting aside their battle for one night as they walk the runway! All attendees as well as participants are encouraged to come dressed in Old Hollywood Elegant Loungewear: sultry vintage nightgowns or lounging pants from the Jean Harlow and Norma Shearer styles and smoking jackets or silk loungewear and robes. Come see the 1937 Buick and fashions from the past. Refreshments will be provided.

Fashion designers, spa owners, bloggers and the cancer community are invited to attend!
